Human Resources and Skills Development Canada's Summer Career Placements (SCP) is a wage subsidy initiative that enables public, private and not-for-profit employers to create career-related summer jobs for secondary and post-secondary students from 15 to 30 years of age. These jobs provide students with the opportunity to acquire skills, gain valuable work experience and help finance their return to school.
