Human Resources and Skills Development Canada's Summer Career Placements (SCP) is a wage subsidy initiative that enables public, private and not-for-profit employers to create career-related summer jobs for secondary and post-secondary students from 15 to 30 years of age. These jobs provide students with the opportunity to acquire skills, gain valuable work experience and help finance their return to school.

Visit the HRSDC website to find out more about the initiative eligibility, project criteria and priorities, participant pay and other additional information.
