CCNMatthews is the new name of a merged company with two proud histories -CCN Newswire and Matthews Media Directories. Founded in 1983, the newswire division of CCNMatthews operated for many years as Canadian Corporate News but was traditionally referred to by its acronym: CCN. In 1991 CCN acquired Matthews Media Directories from Southam Inc. Matthews was founded in 1957 and has been THE media contact source in Canada ever since.
