QUESTION: Does my Master Business Licence expire?
TOPIC: Business Name Registration
ANSWER
Yes, your Master Business Licence will expire. It is valid for 5 years starting from the date of registration. Once your Master Business Licence has expired there is a 60 day grace period within which you would still be eligible to RENEW your business name. If time lapses beyond your 60 day grace period after the expiry date, you must file for a NEW business name registration.
