QUESTION: What should I consider when buying/selling a business?
TOPIC: Legal Information
ANSWER
Answer by Albert Luk

Ensure no liens are registered against the business, making a sale more difficult. If inventory is being purchased, make sure the seller's creditors approve of the sale or the buyer may have to pay the creditors.
