Generally, copyright in Canada exists for the life of the author plus 50 years following his or her death. There are some exceptions.
COPYRIGHT PROTECTION ALWAYS EXPIRES DECEMBER 31 OF THE LAST CALENDAR YEAR OF PROTECTION
