Besides price what other things should I consider when deciding to choose a supplier?

REPLIES
There are many things to consider when selecting a supplier which include pricing, terms of payment, shipping arrangements references, how long they have been in business, customers, other suppliers. Check the BBB for their rating and any outstanding complaints against the company.

Also, how good is their inventory. Do they always have what you need in stock? If not, how fast can they get it for you?

And,in-line with purchasing, my supplier informed me about eco fee.

Effective on April 1, 2009, new electronic and electrical devices carry an environmental fee.

Servers are exempted, used and refurbished units as well until further notice according to OES (Ontario Electronic Stewardship).

Currently, the environmental fee of a new desktop is $13.44 + GST. OES has an updated list of fee rate for each unit at http://www.ontarioelectronicstewardship.ca/index.html
