What would be the best approach to market my company as our expertise are in website projects (design/development). My plan is to do all Business analysing and project Architect here locally to avoid any Business requirment gap and development done offshore. Ofcource, the development cost will be very competative.

Is it a good idea to market with highlighting "Outsourcing" word? or just abstract it from potential clients as they will always contact my local office for any project related issues.

Hi,

outsourcing implies lower cost and questionable customer service. You will attract bargain customers.

The main problem i hear from my clients about their website designer is poor service.

Like Lydia said, outsourcing often implies bargain customers and poor customer service. If you feel that your product has no difference in quality between a locally developed product, there is no need to mention how you achieve it - after all it's managed locally. You can just price it below market rates to attract more customers.

It all comes down to the quality of the work. I've had customers try to haggle with me but I stick to my prices, they try out individuals that are 'cheaper' and realize that it might have been a lot wiser to go with someone that can offer them something that actually works.

Try to avoid haggling with customers, pricing below market value dramatically tends to raise eyebrows. My prices are competitive - but not to the point of doing free work.

Hope that helps...
