Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters congratulated Prime Minister Harper on choosing a strong and balanced Cabinet. The cabinet which totals 27 including the Prime Minister, is smaller than the previous 39-member Cabinet and drops the post of deputy prime minister.
CME has identified a number of key priority issues for promoting a stronger and more prosperous Canada, including improvements to our relationship with Canada's most important trading partner, the United States, ensuring a competitive tax and regulatory structure, reducing barriers to Canadian exports, and ensuring that Canada's workforce has the skills needed to build for the future.
