I have a gift shop, a blog and a website and am now thinking of selling online. Would really appreciate it, if somebody with experience in this area, could tell what kinds of problems to watch out for, how to deal with shipping costs, and other issues which might arise? Many thanks Laura Gill

Hi I can help you with the shipping end of things. As far as the web site goes your web site host usually can help out with the other aspects of ecommerce. Best of luck in your venture.

Hi depending on your sales volume you could go with a fulfillment conpany, they do the warehousing and shipmnet and take a percentage based on sales. Otherwise, you could integrate your website with the main couriers (Fedex,UPS, Canada Post of Purolator). A lot of these can be integrated in your ecommerce site, also consider security and potential liabilities from handling private info. Feel free to contact me if you required further info
